If an item is unavailable you will be contacted immediately to discuss alternatives.

 

Due to seasonal changes and the current availability of top grade flowers, some product items may have to be substituted; some vases and containers may also have to be substituted if they are unavailable, however we assure you that your order will have the same look and feel as the image portrayed on this web site.

 

Orders/Delivery

 

As soon as your online order is received, you will receive a confirmation email or phone call.

 

Please make sure that all the delivery details and contact numbers are correct, an incorrect delivery address may incur an additional fee.

 

Moss flowers delivers to all Brisbane suburbs and The Gold Coast.

 

If you would like to place an order elsewhere (i.e. interstate or overseas) please phone Moss flowers directly on (07) 3369 3707.

 

Orders for delivery within the greater Brisbane metropolitan area must be received before 10am to ensure same day delivery. Orders received after 10am requesting same day delivery may incur an additional fee.

 

Orders for delivery to the outer metropolitan area or the Gold Coast areas must be received before 1pm the day prior to dispatch to co-ordinate couriers.

 

Assuming that the delivery address and phone numbers provided are correct, we ensure to deliver to a business address before 5pm and a residential addresses before 7pm.

 

Moss Flowers delivers to the greater metropolitan area on Saturdays, providing the order is placed by 3pm on the Friday.

 

We do not delivery on Public Holidays.

 

If you require timed deliveries you will incur an additional fee; this will be discussed with you prior to delivery.

 

Customers will always be notified if any additional fees apply concerning delivery.

 

How to look after your Flowers

 

At Moss Flowers we pride ourselves on the quality of our products and services, it is important to remember that flowers are a perishable, natural product that will react to their immediate indoor environment and external weather conditions.

 

Moss Flowers ensure that only the freshest and highest quality flowers are hand selected and bought every day. Moss only sells First Grade blooms, which are the highest quality blooms available.

 

The most crucial time for flowers is in the first 24 hours; affecting the longevity of your flowers as they absorb half the water they require to survive during this time.

 

To increase the lifespan and enjoyment of your flowers, please follow the instructions listed below very carefully:

 

• Bouquets and cut flowers

Trim stems 2 - 3cm on a sharp angle every 2 days and replace in clean water.

 

• Vase displays

Will need clean water every 2 days, carefully place the whole display in the sink and fill with water until completely flushed.

 

• Keep flowers in a cool place away from draughts, heat and appliances.

• Keep flowers away from fruit as it releases ethylene gas, which accelerates the aging process of your flowers.

• A few drops of bleach in your vase can be used as an alternative to flower food preservative.

Unfortunately once we dispatch our flowers a number of changes in condition may result in their longevity being reduced. Air conditioning, extreme heat or changes in climate may have an adverse affect on the flowers. For this reason and considering all the possible variables it is impossible for Moss Flowers to guarantee the flower life in every case. We are aware that Mother Nature may produce blooms that don?t exactly have the staying power we expect. In these rare instances, contact Moss within 48 hours of delivery to assess the situation.

 

Regretfully we cannot arrange a resend of fresh flowers to you if the original flowers are disposed of, thereby making them unavailable for our florists to assess the cause of the problem.
